Rize Partners with PublicAML to Strengthen Wallet Screening

At Rize we constantly work to maintain the balance between privacy of spending and financial data and engaging with high risk assets. Unfortunately there is a correlation between promoting privacy of spending and attracting bad actors. Managing this risk factor is a complicated task, partly due to inefficiencies of the AML scoring systems. Proceeds from crime are moved and laundered within minutes and hours while legacy KYT systems take days to update and are unavailable for start-ups and SME’s anyway. PublicAML is trying to solve this problem by offering free basic AML information for anyone and we fully support this initiative. We fully support the initiative and have integrated PublicAML, a non-profit initiative focused on making AML screening more accessible across the crypto ecosystem, alongside our other KYT system. This will allow Rize to have more insight on the assets and wallets we interact with, and improve our decision making when it comes to enhanced due diligence.
PublicAML provides wallet and recipient screening across Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Chain and TRON, helping identify addresses associated with sanctions, scams, wallet drainers, address-poisoning activity and other forms of on-chain risk.
One of the aspects we value most is transparency. Instead of returning only a risk score, PublicAML also provides the reasoning behind it, giving platforms a clearer understanding of why a particular address may require additional attention.
Privacy, control and responsible infrastructure
As financial systems become increasingly automated, risk assessment is often reduced to a single score or decision. We believe useful infrastructure should provide more context. Knowing that an address has been flagged is valuable. Understanding whether that flag relates to sanctions exposure, fraudulent activity, a known drainer or another identifiable risk makes the information significantly more actionable. This approach supports better decision-making across compliance, security and product teams, while also creating a more transparent experience for users.
Rize has always been built around the idea of giving people more control over how they hold, move and use their money. Financial privacy is an important part of that vision. At the same time, privacy works best when it is supported by strong infrastructure and access to reliable information.
Blockchain networks make it possible to identify certain risks before a transaction is completed. This creates an opportunity to move risk detection closer to the moment when it is most useful. Instead of treating AML purely as a retrospective compliance process, screening can become part of the security layer around a transaction. For users, this can mean greater confidence before sending funds. For platforms, it creates more context for making proportionate and informed decisions.
Why accessible AML infrastructure matters
Sophisticated blockchain intelligence has traditionally been concentrated among large exchanges, financial institutions and companies with significant compliance budgets. PublicAML takes a different approach by making core screening capabilities freely available.
We believe wider access to this kind of infrastructure can strengthen the ecosystem as a whole. When more businesses, developers and users are able to identify high-risk addresses before interacting with them, the network becomes more resilient and bad actors have fewer opportunities to operate unnoticed. That is a direction we are happy to support.
Building stronger infrastructure for digital assets
The next stage of digital finance will not be defined by access alone. It will also depend on the quality of the infrastructure surrounding that access: transparent risk signals, strong security, thoughtful compliance and products that give users genuine control over their money. Our partnership with PublicAML is part of that broader direction.
Together, we are supporting a financial ecosystem where digital assets can move with greater transparency, security and confidence.
