Last updated: 29.05.2025
This Risk Disclosure Statement is provided by RIZE HK LIMITED (“Rize”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) to ensure that you (“the Client”, “you”) understand the risks associated with borrowing, lending, and using digital assets as collateral through our platform. By accessing or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted the risks described below and agree to bear full responsibility for your decisions.
1. RIZE HK LIMITED
Company No.: 77496169 Money Lender's License No.: 0397/2025 Website: www.rize.hk
2. General Lending Risks
Borrowing through a money lender involves financial obligations and risk. You should only borrow if you fully understand the terms and are confident in your ability to repay. — Debt Risk: Failure to repay your loan on time may result in additional interest, fees, legal enforcement, and/or credit score impairment. — Interest Rate Risk: Interest rates may vary depending on market conditions and your credit profile. — Over-leveraging Risk: Taking out multiple loans or high-value loans without adequate financial planning may lead to financial distress.
3. Digital Asset Risks
If you choose to use digital assets (e.g., Bitcoin, Ethereum) as collateral for any financial products offered on the Rize.hk platform, you acknowledge and accept the following specific risks: — Market Volatility: Digital assets are highly volatile. A sudden drop in value may lead to liquidation of your collateral without notice. — Liquidity Risk: In adverse market conditions, digital assets may become illiquid or difficult to convert to cash for loan recovery. — Technology Risk: Transactions depend on third-party blockchains which may experience outages, delays, or irreversible errors. — Custody Risk: While we take reasonable measures to safeguard digital assets, there is no guarantee against loss due to hacking, technical failure, or force majeure events. — Regulatory Risk: Changes in laws or regulations may affect the availability, legality, or value of digital asset-backed loans.
4. Collateral Liquidation Risk
If the value of your digital asset collateral falls below a required threshold, Rize may, at its sole discretion, partially or fully liquidate the assets without prior consent or notice to recover the outstanding balance. You may not be entitled to any excess value following liquidation, depending on prevailing market conditions.
5. No Investment or Financial Advice
Rize.hk does not provide financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. The services we offer are strictly limited to money lending and collateral management. You should seek independent professional advice before engaging in any transaction.
6. Platform Risk
— Operational Risk: System disruptions, scheduled or unscheduled maintenance, or cybersecurity incidents may affect your access to our platform. — Third-Party Risk: Certain services are reliant on third-party vendors, such as payment processors, credit bureaus, and digital asset custodians.
7. Acknowledgement
By using the Rize.hk platform or entering into any agreement with RIZE HK LIMITED, you acknowledge and accept the above risks. You confirm that you have the financial capacity and risk tolerance to engage in borrowing and, where applicable, to pledge digital assets as collateral.
